This product protects the communication line against electrical discharges (ESD). At places where lightning is frequent, it is highly recommended to install this product, which has the function to save the motherboard at such occasions. It was designed for the Wayne Dresser IGEM motherboard but it can be used with other pumps using DART communication.

A few of our customers had to change or repair their Wayne Dresser pumps, at least every 6 moths because of lightning which costs them a lot of money.
To help them we designed this lightning protection to save their pumps and after we installed this product, they never had problems with lightning anymore.
Since then, every client who sends us a main board for repair, buys the lightning protection to avoid this problem in the future.
